Box Utca is a sports bar, restaurant and cafe situated across the street from the St. Stephen Basilica. There are 16 large screen TV sets, tuned in to different cable TV sports events around the world. The interior is classy and stylish, giving an elegance not so common in other Budapest restaurants. There restaraunt is decorated with sports memorabilia, including boxing relics and even a real Grand Prix race car. The menu tells you the most important sports events you can watch that day.

The first thing you can say about the food is that it is great. The restaurant carries a good selection of Hungarian and international cuisine at a slightly above the average price. The friendly and yet professional service is especially welcome in a city where this is so rare. The wine list is extensive, with over 50 Hungarian and foreign wines to choose from. Box Utca also regularly hosts monthly special evenings with local producers. One of the additional nice things about Box Utca is that it has wireless Internet for guests so you can bring your laptop and spend a comfortable morning relaxing and working at the same time.
