Between the Matra and Bukk Mountains, a branch line leads through the valley of Tarna to the main line, Budapest--Ruttka. This branch line touches, among others, the bathing-resort Parad, lying at the fort of the Kek. Parad is an important health-resort, and is the property of Count Karolyi. Among the many springs of different kinds, which bubble up here, the most well-known is the one whose sulphurous water is circulated under the name of Csevice. Not far from the resort is the Karolyi Castle, Sasvar, in a large park.
