Italian is the direct descendant of Latin, and is spoken on the initial territory of the Roman
Empire. It is first documented around the 10-11th centuries and reached its peak during the
Renaissance, contributing a number of significant poets and writers, such as Dante,
Petrarca, Bocaccio etc, to world literature. Today, it has 60 million speakers.
With this product, you will not just learn to speak Italian, but you will also
learn the necessary skills to be on your way to fluency. The system is made
up of two software titles: Beginners and Everyday Italian.
The first of the two software titles was designed with the beginners in mind
for the effortless absorption of language fundamentals, focusing on sounds,
tones, phonics, alphabets and basic vocabulary. It builds your
knowledge of the fundamentals through lessons that gradually increase in difficulty. Before you
know it, you are able to speak the language.
Everyday Italian, the second software title, is intended to provide you with
maximum exposure to the Italian language. It allows for full immersion and increases your
working vocabulary by presenting in a wide range of coversational situations. Unlike in the Beginners
title, you are encouraged to select the lessons that best suit your needs. You can learn to speak and write
by just pointing, clicking, and listening. Unlike with an audio tape, with this multimedia software
package you can listen to the audio over and over again without having to rewind it. It has never
been easier to learn a language.
