Several Budapest newspapers predict victory for the German troops in this war. The Pesth Lloyd says: "The Germans are by far better equipped to meet the war than any of their adversaries. Where the enemy is on the offensive the Germans are in a position to repulse them, and where the Germans are defending they will be able to hold their ground."
The new Pesth Journal says: "Germany stands with her shoulders to the wall, strong right, left and everywhere against attack and striking out against her antagonists."
The Pesth Hirlap writes: "We are proud of the German victories and of the honored dead of the German forces. It will give us a thrill of joy to realize that we have such allies."
