In sharp contrast to the previous drawing, this is a very positive and warm composition from the hands of two girls, Li Xiangyu and Zhang Yi. The main design consists of a large fruit which is most likely an orange. The top is sliced off and the bits of pulp form a halo around the fruit.
The text underneath also uses the same warm orange color, addressing the "white-clothed angels" and saying that they (i.e. the children) express their most sincere gratitude to them for leaving home and fighting against SARS.
Interesting to note that there is nothing negative in the picture. It offers an orange as a token of gratitude to the angels. The words and images are an orange, gratitude, angles, home, sincerity. Everything is optimistic and constructive. SARS is nowhere depicted here as either being defeated or hated, the emphasis is on the angels and the children who express their love towards them.
