Following the SARS epidemic there was a SARS exhibition in the Temple of Confucius in Beijing. Beside the general propaganda-type displays there was also a large amount of children's drawing about SARS. This was unquestionably the most interesting part of the event.
I was fascinated by these SARS pictures on cloth and took a large number of photographs to document it. It would have made a great art book too but I have not read of heard anything about this exhibition eversince. So I decided to display them here and see if other people have any comments or ideas about them.
Just for the fun of it, I added some commentaries to the photographs, mostly just pointing out things that I noticed in them. You should not takes these commentaries very seriously, I am really not an art historian or a child psychologist. If you have better comments, please let me know and I will put up yours as well. I will also be adding more and more pictures as soon as I have time.
