Aladdin (or Alladin) is the lucky hero from the Thousand and One Nights who had all his wishes come true. The pictures of Aladdin below come from four different traditions. The first picture is a prominent piece of the Aladdin merchandise following the animated picture by Disney. It is a plate with Disney's Aladdin on it.

The second picture is the first page of the book Aladdin in Rhyme by Arthur Ransome, from 1924.

The third picture is the famous Italian actor, Bud Spencer, playing Aladdin in a family movie.

The fourth picture is the Aladdin doll in the Harlequin, Britain's First Permanent Puppet Theatre.
