The pictures of Apollo below come from four different traditions. The first picture is entitled Apollo and the Nine Muses. It is a painting by Hendrick van Balen from the early 17th century.

The second picture is by Francois Boucher, Apollo Revealing his Divinity to the Sheepherdress. It was painted in 1750.

The third picture is Apollo Slays Python by Eugene Delacroix from 1850.

The fourth picture is an engraving by Albrecht Durer entitled Apollo and Diana, from 1502.
