The second picture is a painting by Aert Anthonisz, Sea Battle Between Dutch and Spanis Boats from 1604. It depicts a clash of battleships in the middle ages. The third picture is the Japanese battleship Nagato. This photo was taken in the 1930s. The ship was severely damaged in World War II, and was sunk afterwards, during nuclear tests conducted by the United States. The fourht picture is a painting by J. M. V.
