The pictures of Christ below come from four different traditions. The first picture is the 38 meters tall monument named Cristo Redento (Christ the Redeemer), overlooking the city of Rio De Janeiro. It was built in 1921.

The second picture is an icon of Christ the Life Giver.

The third picture is a painting by Mathias Grunewald, from the 16th century. It depicts the crucifixion of Christ. After the size of the picture it is entitled Small crucifixion.

The fourth picture is Christ preaching by Rembrandt, painted in 1652.
