The pictures of God below come from four different traditions. The first picture is part of the Ghent Altarpiece by
Jan van Eyck. It is entitled God Almighty, and it was painted in 1426.
The second picture is another painting from the 15th century. It is God the Father by Andrea del Castagno, from 1442.
The third picture is a statue also entitled God the Father. It was created by Artus Quellin II in 1682.
The fourth picture is a famous painting of God and man. It is The Creation of Man by Michelangelo, a fresco
in the Sistine Chapel.
