The pictures of the Patriarch below come from four different traditions. The first picture is a photo of Alexius I, Patriarch of Moscow between 1945 and 1970.

The second picture is the Ethiopian Patriarch Yohannes VIII. It is an illustration in a 14th century codex.

The third picture is an icon of Saint Pothios, Patriarch of Constantinople between 820 and 891 AD.

The fourth picture is an icon of Saint Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow from 1865 to 1925.
