Pictures of saints - Drawings and paintings of saints

The pictures of saints below come from four different traditions. The first picture is a fresco by Altichiero da Zevio. Its title is The Execution of Saint George. It was painted around 1380.

The second picture is Virgin with Four Saints. It was painted by Andrea del Sarto in 1530.

The third picture is entitled Lamentation over the Dead Christ with Saints. It was painted by Sandro Botticelli around 1490.

The fourth picture is Gianantonio Guardi's Madonna and Child with Saints. It was painted in 1746.
