The pictures of the warrior below come from four different traditions. The first picture is Profile of a Warrior in Helmet by Leonardo da Vinci, from around 1472. It is a silverpoint on prepared paper.

The second picture is Statue of a Wounded Warrior. It is a Roman copy of a Greek bronze statue. The original was made around 450 B.C. The copy is from around 138 A.D. It is a marble statue.

The third picture shows two of the many Warrior Saints of the Serbs. It is a fresco in Monastery Manasija, from the 1400's.

The fourth picture is the first line of the famous terracotta warriors. They are part of the (terracotta) "Army of Qin". The army was made in 210 B.C.
