If you are looking for a transfer from Bangkok International Airport to one of the hotels in Pattaya, you should be able to get a car for about 1,700 baht. This price is always per transfer, that is, per car, not per person. The price should also includes all fees, tolls and taxes, without any additional costs.
If you have luggage, one car can fit 3 people, without much luggage - 4 people. If you are more than what one car can accommodate, please ask for a minibus. The price of a minibus should be around 2,000 baht. Once again, this is per transfer, including all costs.
Once you arrive at Bangkok airport, there will be a host of taxi drivers offering you transfers from the airport to all sorts of destinations within Thailand.
The prices will vary, depending on your familiarity with Thailand, the ability to speak the language, and the way you look. On the other hand, if you book an airport transfer
through the Internet, you will be able to do this in English and without any of the hassle. You do not even have to pay in advance so you have no obligations whatsoever.
Booking a transfer in advance would be one of the cheapest and most effortless way to get to Pattaya from Bangkok airport. Any taxi or transfer you catch once at the airport will cost you more, sometimes even twice this much.
